Setting up Students for Success

The UC Secondary school programme experience also includes a guidance and career education programme designed to encourage and help students to learn about career opportunities and to make informed decisions about the options they will encounter in the course of secondary school and those they will face as they prepare to leave school. The central features of this programme are the development of an annual education plan for every student and the introduction of a teacher-advisor (TAG) programme. Both features are designed to help students set appropriate goals and select courses that will help them achieve these.
