Global Hour Of Code

Logo Default

We are pleased to share that our UC students will be participating in the Global Hour of Code during the first week of December. This is a worldwide global movement that is observed in over 180 countries. Code.org was launched to promote computer sciences within the classroom, offering key lessons and opportunities to teach and expand students’ knowledge of coding and programming.

At UC, we prioritize the importance and value of investing in providing optimal opportunities for our students to develop their skill set and learning of new, innovative technology. Our STEAM studies call upon our students to continue to develop their 21st-century critical thinking skills all while incorporating Computer Science Components of Coding and Programing along with Design and Technology Components on Inquiry and Analysis.

The ultimate question, “How can we prepare students for jobs that don’t even exist yet?”, calls for us to ensure that we provide the best well-rounded learning opportunities which will prepare our students to be the leaders of tomorrow.
