At the end of February, our Casa classes celebrated 112 years of Montessori during Montessori Week! Classes enjoyed going back to basics; putting away their pencils and books and focussing on the Montessori materials. They learned about Maria Montessori and her pedagogy, discussed peace and how to be peaceful citizens and created their own Montessori materials. It was a wonderful and refreshing week of learning and sharing. All of these fantastic activities were shared on the walls in the school and on Edsby. We hope you took the opportunity to learn about what your child’s class did to celebrate this week!
