Community Outreach

Students of UC participate in a number of charitable activities and community outreach programmes, allowing them to understand and appreciate the need for giving back to the community. Students are well aware that not everybody lives a privileged lifestyle, and are taught that they do not own the world but rather share it collectively with others. Through various programmes and charitable causes, UC has a tradition of giving back to society. Students participate in a variety of events which have been outlined below.

Making the Right Partnerships

Private school Athletic Federation in Markham

Small Schools Athletic Federation

The Small Schools Athletic Federation was developed to provide small schools and/or independent schools with a definite avenue for, but not limited by, the expression of physical talents. Our purpose is multifold. We want to provide girls and boys with the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities at a higher level of skill than generally found in the intramural programme. The Federation of small schools also encourages students to participate in activities in a climate of fair play and sportsmanship.

Library of Private School in Markham

Markham Public Library

Being among the best private schools in Markham, our partnership with the Markham Public Library enhances our services to our school community. The partnership with MPL enables our students to have 24/7 access to library materials including books, e-books, on-line catalogues and databases. Students and parents will be able to reserve and renew books on their home devices. Teachers will be able to create book lists for students who can also create their own “shelves” of books that they have read. They can then share these with other students and with their teachers.
